Solid-State Research has brought on-line a custom simulation/computation 'super computer'. The system uses a motherboard made for overclocking with two 3.47GHz hex-core x5690 Intel Xenon processors. Supporting the processors are two banks of high-speed RAM with a total capacity of 48GB at a speed of 2000MHz.
