Solid-State Research is a small business started in 2002 by Dr. Demetrios Papageorgiou specializing in sensors and sensing systems. A majority of our efforts involve devices whose overall dimensions are under 2mm on any given side (BioMEMS, MEMS, and NEMS devices/systems); however, we also work with larger macrosystems. In addition to our internal development efforts, we provide a full range of services to companies looking to develop new sensors or sensing systems. These include:
